Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we must verify your identity before fulfilling your request. The verification process varies based on the type of request:
- Right to Know (Categories): We will match at least 2 data points you provide (name, email, phone) with information we have on file.
- Right to Know (Specific Pieces): We will match at least 3 data points and may require a signed declaration under penalty of perjury.
- Right to Delete: We will match at least 3 data points and may require additional verification to prevent fraudulent deletion requests.
Response Timeline
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days. If we need additional time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to make a CCPA request on your behalf. The authorized agent must:
- Provide proof of authorization (power of attorney or signed permission from you)
- Verify their own identity
- We may still require you to verify your identity directly or confirm you authorized the agent
